Add TemplatesService for the paginated /api/templates endpoints - #31
Conversation
- Client.Templates sends flat request bodies and unwraps the data envelope, matching EmailCampaigns. - List returns the page with Pagination; All follows next_token across pages. - The path stays token-scoped (/api/templates), like the existing EmailTemplates resource. - Client.EmailTemplates and its methods are marked Deprecated in favour of Client.Templates.

Full details: Docstring CoverageExplanation Docstring coverage is 11.11% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff. Analyzed 9 functions across 5 files. (1 skipped: 1 unsupported.) Full details: Description checkExplanation The description covers the motivation, changes, and test plan, but it materially contradicts the changeset: it says the old surface is not deprecated and has no Deprecated marker, while the changeset adds deprecation notices. It also omits the template’s Images and GIFs section. Resolution Update the description to accurately state that the old service, client field, and legacy types or methods are deprecated in favor of Client.Templates. Correct the staticcheck expectation to match the deprecation notices. Add the Images and GIFs section, or state that it is not applicable.

- Remove the Deprecated: markers from EmailTemplates and the README
label, and point to Client.Templates with a plain doc line. SA1019
would flag working code, and the public spec still calls
/api/email_templates the stable surface.
- Make UpdateTemplateRequest.BodyText and BodyHTML *string, so
mailtrap.Ptr("") clears a body instead of omitempty dropping it.
- Cover All sending per_page on every page and stopping at a page error.
Motivation
Mailtrap now serves a conventions-compliant templates API at
/api/templates(and/api/accounts/{account_id}/templates): every response is wrapped in adataenvelope, the list is paginated withtoken/per_page, and write bodies are flat. The existing/api/email_templatessurface keeps its published shape and stays the stable way to manage templates. This adds the new surface as a sibling resource rather than widening the existing one, because widening would change every return type for current callers. The old surface is not deprecated yet: the new endpoints are experimental, and
EmailTemplates.Listreturns every template whileTemplates.Listreturns one page. It can be deprecated when/api/templatesleaves experimental.Changes
