Summary

  • The rename to macarchy-core changed the managed-block markers, so the old omarchy-bar-contrast block stayed in shell.toml as a second [bar] table (invalid TOML).
  • The script only stripped its own markers, and its no-op exit on an unchanged verdict meant the stale block was never removed.
  • The script now strips the legacy range on every write and skips the early exit while that range is still present.

Test plan

  • bash tests/test_bar_contrast.sh: all passed, including a new regression case (fails without the fix).
  • Ran on a real machine: the legacy block was removed and shell.toml parses with tomllib.

The rename to macarchy-core changed the block markers, so the old
"omarchy-bar-contrast" block was left in shell.toml as a second [bar]
table (invalid TOML). The no-op exit on an unchanged verdict meant it was
never cleaned up. Strip the legacy range on every write and skip the
early exit while it is still present.
