  • scripts/fresh-wallet.ts (npm run acceptance:x402:fresh): runs acceptance:x402 with a wallet made for that run. FUNDER_PRIVATE_KEY funds it, and afterwards, pass or fail, it withdraws its prepaid balance and sends everything back. acceptance:x402 needs a wallet that never authorized a delegate, and the nightly wallet authorizes the API's for acceptance:pool.
  • acceptance.yml: an x402 job after pool, from the same TESTNET_WALLET_PRIVATE_KEY, with its log as an artifact.
  • The x402 payment cap defaults to 0.05 LCAI, in acceptance-x402.ts and in the README example. Testnet charges 0.02 a job, past the old 0.01 default.
  • .gitignore gains node_modules/.

Testnet run on 2026-10-10 (x402 went live there today):

  • PASS: keyless x402 job 1589, settled by the facilitator in 0xab835ecb….
  • Of 2 calls sent at once, 1 was served and 1 was refused with a 429.
  • The fresh wallet withdrew 0.06 LCAI and returned all it held to the funder. The run cost 0.04 LCAI in fees.

acceptance:x402 needs a wallet that never authorized a delegate, and the
nightly wallet authorizes the API's for acceptance:pool. scripts/fresh-wallet.ts
runs an npm script with a wallet made for that run: the funder sends it
LIGHTCHAIN_FUND_WEI, and afterwards, pass or fail, it withdraws its prepaid
balance and sends everything back. acceptance.yml runs it after pool, from the
same secret.

The x402 payment cap defaults to 0.05 LCAI, in acceptance-x402.ts and in the
README example: testnet charges 0.02 a job, past the old 0.01 default.
