libvslvm comes with Python-bindings named pyvslvm.
Below are examples how use pyvslvm.
They assume you have a working version of pyvslvm on your system.
To build pyvslvm see Building.
Import
To be able to use pyvslvm in your Python scripts add the following import:
import pyvslvm
Get version
The get_version() module function can be used to retrieve the version of the pyvslvm.
pyvslvm.get_version()
This will return a textual string (Unicode) that contains the libvslvm version.
Since pyvslvm is a wrapper around libvslvm it does not have a separate version.
