Sorry for not seeing this change before and thank you for this contribution! This project has been a bit sleepy over the last year or so.

These are implementation details that might change in the future - I'd suggest avoiding exporting them and directly relying on them

Could you please remove yargs and use the existing simplified argument parsing? My attempt to keep dependencies low and simple

This PR is a first pass at adding plugins to spec-md which allow for the generation of output in formats other than HTML.
