The workflow should support:

  • Adding/removing PDO entries
  • Specify Object ID and Subindex
  • Applying the mapping via SDO writes
  • Verifying that all mapping SDO writes succeeded
  • Validating mapping coherency (mapping may write successfully but still be invalid)
  • Clear error reporting at each step
  • Ability to iterate on the mapping if any step fails
