Akwaaba! - Journey Through Ghana

Learn conversational Twi in 12 weeks through an interactive RPG adventure.

You've just arrived in Accra, Ghana. Navigate daily life — greeting elders, buying food at the market, taking trotros, visiting family, attending cultural events — all while learning Twi progressively through an immersive story.

How to Play

  1. Open index.html in any web browser
  2. Click New Journey to start
  3. Play through each week's scenes by choosing the correct Twi responses
  4. Complete the Boss Challenge at the end of each week to unlock the next
  5. Review learned words anytime in your Vocabulary Journal

About Twi

Twi (pronounced "chwee") is a dialect of the Akan language spoken by over 8 million people in Ghana. It is the most widely spoken language in Ghana after English and is essential for navigating daily life, especially in the Ashanti and Greater Accra regions.
