What to build

Attach an audited scorecard to a trusted fight only when the cross-source match is unique and orientation is known. Keep scorecard quality and matching decisions explicit and isolate attachment failures from valid UFCStats evidence.

Acceptance criteria

• Matching normalizes names and dates, requires exactly one candidate, preserves red/blue orientation, and records the matched fight_id.
• Unmatched, ambiguous, malformed, or cross-source-mismatched scorecards receive explicit scorecard check codes and quarantine only the scorecard attachment.
• A scorecard failure does not remove otherwise trusted or warning UFCStats fight totals or certified rounds.
• Merged output begins from trusted fight totals, preserves fights without accepted scorecards, and exposes scorecard match/quality state.
• Fixtures cover unique match, reversed orientation, no match, multiple candidates, malformed OCR, and a scorecard that conflicts with otherwise valid stats.
