…header rewrites - knit push moves both planes in one command: feature branches to git origin, then the bundle artifact and project history to the configured sync remotes, whatever push-sync says (--no-remote is the explicit opt-out); when push-sync is off, the output says the sync ran anyway - knit sign re-signs bundle commits in place on the same base with the repo's own git signing config (commit.gpgsign, user.signingkey, gpg.format — git's own error when no key is configured), records its own resign rewrite kind with every named commit group carried 1:1 onto the new SHAs and old SHAs traceable, then force-pushes with lease and syncs the hosted copy in the same command (--no-push stays local) - knit sync carries named commit groups forward across content-identical header-only rewrites instead of superseding them as anonymous observed work; knit sync --repair-groups [--apply] restores the groups bundles already lost, idempotently - knit sync push --bundles reports one honest artifact total, including the resolved bundle the sweep excluded - commits knit creates sign exactly when plain git would; the generated AGENTS.md guidance and docs/reference.md describe this behaviour Knit-Group: kg_20261026_fe44f6 Knit-Bundle: push-sync-visibility-and-commit-signing
