We take the security of MovieTickets seriously. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us as described below.
- Open a public issue for security vulnerabilities
- Discuss the vulnerability publicly until it has been addressed
- Attempt to access data that is not yours or disrupt the service
- Report the vulnerability privately using one of the methods below
- Provide detailed information about the vulnerability
- Allow reasonable time for us to respond and fix the issue
- Work with us to understand and resolve the issue

- Full paths of source file(s) related to the manifestation of the issue

- Step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue
- Proof-of-concept or exploit code (if possible)
- Impact of the issue, including how an attacker might exploit it
You can also report vulnerabilities through GitHub's private security advisory feature:

- Initial Response: Within 48 hours of receiving the report

When contributing to this project, please follow these security guidelines:
- All code changes must be reviewed by at least one maintainer
- Security-sensitive changes require additional review
- Use static analysis tools to identify potential vulnerabilities

- Output Encoding: Properly encode output to prevent XSS attacks
- Authentication: Never store passwords in plain text
