🚨 Reporting a Vulnerability

We take the security of MovieTickets seriously. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us as described below.

Please Do Not

  • Open a public issue for security vulnerabilities
  • Discuss the vulnerability publicly until it has been addressed
  • Attempt to access data that is not yours or disrupt the service

  • Report the vulnerability privately using one of the methods below
  • Provide detailed information about the vulnerability
  • Allow reasonable time for us to respond and fix the issue
  • Work with us to understand and resolve the issue

  4. Special configuration required to reproduce the issue
  5. Step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue
  6. Proof-of-concept or exploit code (if possible)
  7. Impact of the issue, including how an attacker might exploit it

You can also report vulnerabilities through GitHub's private security advisory feature:

  1. Go to the Security tab of this repository
  2. Click "Report a vulnerability"
  3. Fill out the form with details about the vulnerability
