…td.log Debug link failed twice: `ld.lld: unable to lower stackguard`, then `LLVM ERROR: ... @llvm.returnaddress`. zig enables the stack protector in safe modes when link_libc is set; MOS implements neither getSDagStackGuard nor @returnaddress(). Both off, so Debug keeps its safety checks instead of flooring to ReleaseSmall the way mega65/picolibc do. hello.zig now uses std.log/std_options: logFn formats with std.fmt.comptimePrint and hands the line to std.c.printf. getchar is gone because Aro can't translate stdio.h (va_list lowers to void); the example idles after printing, like c64/c128 hello. `zig build --summary all` 707/707. mii_emu shows "hello, apple ii".
