[4.0.0-alpha.2] - 2026-10-26(#74–#79). After the merge: tagv4.0.0-alpha.2on the merge commit and create the GitHub pre-release.alpha.2 is the candidate for 4.0.0-beta.1: it gets about a week of production use in a downstream project before the beta is tagged.
