Figuring out priors is one of the toughest parts of getting started when you're learning Stan. While there is excellent guidance, it can be a little tough to translate to actionable code. LLMs can also be helpful, but don't necessarily support the learning and exploration process. This Shiny dash is meant for users to play around with to inform their coding and set informed priors. You should still check out the Stan docs! You should still use LLMs! But maybe this will help you, the way it has helped me set and select priors.
