[DOCS] Remove /install-opentask references from cli.md and github-action.md #1012

Closed

Description

Summary

PR inference-gateway/cli#1561 removes the /install-opentask chat shortcut entirely. Installing the OpenTask GitHub workflow now needs no dedicated CLI surface: mention the opentask skill in a normal chat turn (/opentask <context>), and the agent creates or updates .github/workflows/tasks.yml on the install branch, waits for approval, then pushes and opens (or updates) a PR. Typing /install-opentask still works in practice - the CLI passes unknown /-names through to the agent as ordinary chat messages - but the docs must stop advertising the shortcut.

Two pages still reference it:

  • cli.md lists /install-opentask in the chat shortcuts table (linked from github-action.md)
  • github-action.md points readers at "the CLI's /install-opentask shortcut" when wiring up the GitHub App, and at the shortcut for first-time workflow setup

Acceptance Criteria

  • cli.md no longer lists /install-opentask; the table entry is replaced with the opentask skill usage (/opentask <context>)
  • github-action.md no longer mentions the /install-opentask shortcut and describes the agent-driven install via the opentask skill instead
  • Both pages match the shortcuts guide and README updates in fix(chat): remove the redundant /install-opentask shortcut cli#1561
  • No other page in the docs repo mentions /install-opentask

    Done - PR #1013

    • Gather context (cli.md, github-action.md, upstream shortcuts guide + internal/github/README.md from inference-gateway/cli)
    • Replace the /install-opentask row in cli.md's Built-in Commands table with a pointer to the opentask skill
    • Rewrite the cli.md "GitHub Action Setup" section around /opentask <context>
    • Update github-action.md (GitHub App hardening note + CLI integration section)
    • Verify no other page mentions /install-opentask
    • bun run lint:md, bun run format:check, bun run build
    • Commit + open PR

    What changed

    cli.md

    • Dropped the /install-opentask row from Built-in Commands - it is no longer a command.
    • Added one line under that table: installing the workflow is the opentask catalog skill (/opentask <context>), and a /name no command or shortcut answers for is sent to the agent as an ordinary message. This mirrors the pass-through note added to the upstream shortcuts guide.
    • Rewrote GitHub Action Setup around the skill. The examples are now /opentask install the GitHub Action workflow and /opentask install the workflow in my-org/my-service, model: deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash. The agent's five install steps, the fixed infer/install-github-action branch, prerequisites and repository secrets were already accurate and stayed. The heading is unchanged so the /cli/#github-action-setup anchor other pages link to still resolves.

    github-action.md

    • The GitHub App hardening bullet now says asking the CLI agent to install the workflow wires it up, instead of naming the shortcut.
    • The CLI integration section describes the agent-driven install via the opentask skill.

    Notes

    • This repo never documented the also-removed infer workflow install subcommand, so nothing to clean there.
    • bun run format reflowed the Built-in Commands table column widths after the row removal - that is why cli.md's diff touches neighbouring rows.

I did not run bun run preview to eyeball the rendered pages - this is body-prose only, no nav/SEO/theme change, and bun run build passed. The wording for the opentask skill invocation is modelled on the upstream PR description and the skill's README blurb rather than the skill body itself, so if the skill expects a different phrasing for the install intent, the example lines are what to adjust.
