Rationale
The normalization section described the empty-whitespace TAB exception twice after #25. Remove the older repetition, retaining the precise interior-tab example, default-whitespace comparison, edge-trimming guidance, and variation-selector explanation. Update the existing Unreleased documentation entry. No runtime code or test coverage changes.
Validation
Limitations
Local validation used the available cloud fallback and retained dependencies/toolchain, not a connected desktop or saved coding environment. Local PHP 8.3/8.5 and fresh dependency audit were not run; CI separately passed all three PHP versions and dependency audits for the exact head. Workflow-security scanning is path-filtered and not applicable to these Markdown-only changes. No performance claim.
Exact-head CI
All five jobs in CI run 39799424509 completed successfully for
e12d139ab873077f1e6a485d86beb603e4f3c7ee: PHP 8.3/8.4/8.5 each passed 1,388 tests and 4,012 assertions, plus static analysis and code style. No executed jobs were skipped. The workflow-level result also completed successfully at 15:45:50 UTC on October 22, 2026.
