In this project we are asking the question of how the drought phenomenon affects wildfires in th Greece. We as using the methodology of a previous story published by iMEdD and the data from the database SPEI Global Drought Monitor.

This repository includes:

• the csv files for each region analyzed in the folder "datasets_spei"
• the Jupyter Notebook with the main cleanup of the data and a quick analysis the SPEI values (greece_droughts2024)
• the csv file called "listings_full" used for the visualization
