| **Bun** | JS runtime & package management (tier 1) | Default for all new work. Runs compiled ESM/JS directly — no bundler step. Uses an npm-compatible `package.json` plus `bun.lock` — both are expected, not anti-patterns. |

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy lift

Synchronise repository enforcement with the Bun policy.

ipv6-only/Mustfile.epx still allows Deno and bans Bun. ipv6-only/.github/workflows/ci.yml and ipv6-only/scripts/pre-commit still direct contributors to Deno and reject Bun-related lockfiles. Following these new instructions can therefore fail the repository’s own enforcement. Update those enforcement files before making Bun tier 1.

🟡 MEDIUM RISK

The language policy is inconsistent. While lines 29 and 62 have been updated to 'AffineScript', references in lines 22, 40, and 66 still point to 'ReScript'. This creates a contradiction in the instructions for the AI assistant. Standardize the language policy by replacing all remaining instances of 'ReScript' with 'AffineScript' (specifically in lines 22, 40, and 66) to ensure consistent instructions for code conversion and application development.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Use one replacement language throughout the policy.

This file now names ReScript and AffineScript as the replacement for TypeScript. Line 40 maps TypeScript to ReScript, and Line 22 still calls ReScript the primary application language, but these changed rules direct migration and JavaScript fallback to AffineScript. Align the table and rules so assistants receive one deterministic migration target.

1. **No new TypeScript files** - Convert existing TS to ReScript

🟡 MEDIUM RISK

The implementation on this line diverges from the PR description. The description claims the rule is 'No new ReScript files', specifically regarding the conversion of '.res' files to '.affine', but the code currently states 'No new TypeScript files'.

2. **Use `package.json` + `bun.lock` for JS runtime deps** - Bun is npm-compatible; a manifest is REQUIRED
3. **`bun install --production --frozen-lockfile` for production deps** - resolved from `package.json` and pinned via `bun.lock`; `--frozen-lockfile` makes a lockfile mismatch a build failure rather than a silent re-resolve
4. **No Go code** - Use Rust instead
5. **No Python anywhere** - Use Julia for data/batch, Rust for systems, ReScript for apps
6. **No Kotlin/Swift for mobile** - Use Tauri 2.0+ or Dioxus
