BlueToolkit adaptation and Bluetooth lab notes

This repository is a working copy of sgxgsx/BlueToolkit with a separate updated tree and my Bluetooth lab notes. The original framework, its archived README, and its published evaluation belong to the upstream authors. They should not be read as results I produced.

What is here

• BlueToolkit/ is the archived upstream tree. Start with its README for the original project's design and installation instructions.
• BlueToolkit_updated/ is the adaptation tree. Its bluekit package contains the framework code and its setup entry point.
• bluetooth_test_devices.md records test-device planning. It is a planning note, not a completed test report.
• A WhisperPair-related wrapper was added to the updated tree. The file names Cedric Martz's scanner as its basis; the accompanying YAML credits another author. Review those sources and their licenses before reusing the code.

Contribution and evidence boundary

My commits in this repository archive the framework, add the wrapper and YAML, and update the device-planning notes. The imported framework and historical evaluation are upstream work. I have not included a reproducible local test run or hardware capture that establishes the updated tree's behavior. In particular, an accepted Bluetooth profile connection alone is not proof of a specific vulnerability.

For a first review, compare the two trees and the commit history, then inspect the added wrapper and the device notes. Treat this repository as an adaptation and research record, not a validated scanner release. Use Bluetooth checks only on devices you own or are authorized to test.
