• Improve typography: increase minimum font sizes for readability (text-xs: 0.65→0.7rem, text-sm: 0.75→0.78rem, text-base: 0.85→0.875rem, text-md: 0.9→0.925rem), use design tokens consistently
• Enhance color contrast: improve placeholder color (#9ea4ba→#a6adc8 for better WCAG AA compliance)
• Strengthen focus states: add border-radius to focus ring, add skip-to-content link for keyboard navigation, add prefers-reduced-motion support
• Improve button affordances: add :active states for tactile feedback, add min-height for consistent sizing, add cursor: not-allowed to disabled state
• Expand spacing scale: add --space-3xl: 2rem and --space-4xl: 2.5rem tokens for larger spacing
• Add accessibility enhancements: skip-to-content link in HTML, prefers-reduced-motion media query to disable animations, improved font smoothing
• Modernize layout: increased header padding, improved subtitle/eyebrow sizing, better status pill with white-space nowrap
• Enhance mobile/touch responsiveness: significantly expanded touch targets for pointer:coarse (44px+ buttons, tree items, toolbar), better close-btn hover with background highlight
• Take screenshots to verify visual changes
• Run code review and CodeQL checks
