Update stacked: 8 packages (replay of #724) - #737

Conversation
Replays #724 onto current main. #724 was cut on 2026-09-18 and its branch had gone stale enough that replaying it as-is would have reverted ~221 lines landed since by #725, #728 (rust 1.98.1) and #736; rebasing it needed a force-push to the bot's branch. The eight bumps themselves are unchanged and none were covered by those merges. varlock 1.19.0 -> 1.20.0 vhs 0.11.0 -> 0.12.0 vim 9.2.1116 -> 9.2.1119 vlt 1.0.5 -> 1.1.0 wrangler 4.125.0 -> 4.135.0 yazi 26.8.15 -> 26.9.1 zellij 0.45.0 -> 0.45.1 zizmor 1.29.0 -> 1.30.1 Each file is taken verbatim from #724's head, so the source URLs and sha256s are the ones the updater verified at cut time. All ten files were untouched on main since #724's branch point, so the replay is a clean apply rather than a merge resolution. Verified: `mip dump --packages --arch amd64` evaluates the full catalog (531 packages, exit 0) and each of the eight resolves to the version above. Replaces #724, which I closed as unrebaseable rather than force-push the bot's branch.
#724 was cut on 2026-09-18.
mainhas moved since (#725, #728 rust 1.98.1, #736),and replaying that branch as-is would have reverted ~221 lines landed in the
meantime. The eight bumps themselves are untouched and none of them were covered
by those merges, so this re-applies exactly that work on top of current
main.How it was built
Each of the ten files is taken verbatim from #724's head, so the source URLs
and
sha256s are the ones the updater computed and verified when it cut that PR —this is not a hand-retyped bump. I confirmed all ten files were untouched on
mainsince #724's branch point (
31f533a6), so this is a clean apply, not a mergeresolution: the diff is exactly 10 files, +20/-20, matching #724's own footprint.
Verification
mip dump --packages --arch amd64evaluates the full catalog on this branch —531 packages, exit 0 — and each of the eight resolves to the version above. That
only proves Nickel evaluation and version resolution; the builds and tests are CI's
to prove, and this still needs a human reviewer's approval before it lands.
One caveat worth stating
These versions are as of 2026-09-18. Upstream may have moved again (wrangler in
particular moves fast), so the next scheduled stacked PR may supersede some of
them. Nothing here blocks that — it just gets these eight in now rather than
waiting for the next run.
