This project focuses on research and education about Power Steering Control Modules (PSCMs).
PSCM firmware controls steering assistance and participates in driver-assistance functions. Working with it requires special care: changes can disable steering assistance, cause unexpected steering behavior, or leave a module unusable. Research observations and successful experiments do not establish vehicle safety.
We support the right to repair, including lawful independent diagnosis, repair, and research into equipment people own. Steering systems require special care regardless of who performs the work. For vehicle repairs and programming, follow applicable service procedures and seek qualified assistance when needed.
This repository provides a research statement and links to resources. It offers no firmware downloads or modification instructions and does not recommend installing experimental firmware or testing it on public roads.
