Summary

• add one-click discovery and offline text Q&A for installed Ollama models
• add an independent local vision-model profile for image-region questions
• fix EPUB image anchors, scanned-PDF decoding, reader layout, toolbar visibility, and resize gutters
• update @xmldom/xmldom to 0.8.15 and document v0.2.0 packages, validation, and limitations

Verification

• 411 frontend/script tests passed
• 64 browser E2E tests passed locally; 1 opt-in JBIG2 test skipped by design
• Rust unit/integration/doc tests passed with 0 failures (2 local-runtime tests and 1 credential smoke test ignored by design)
• formatting, lint, typecheck, production build, Clippy, dependency policy, sensitive-file guard, licenses, fixtures, and generated bindings verified
• Windows install, offline install, and v0.1.0 → v0.2.0 upgrade evidence is documented in docs/releases/v0.2.0-validation.md

Important limits

• packages are unsigned and target Windows 11 x64
• Ollama/LM Studio and model weights are not bundled
• LM Studio text verification is deferred to v0.2.1; LM Studio vision is not promised
• local whole-book OCR/vision indexing is not included
• local vision answers may be factually wrong on dense charts or complex material
• default small installers need an existing WebView2 runtime or network access to obtain it
