An AWS Console-style installable desktop app for managing cloud service emulators. Built with Electron + React + AWS SDK v3.
CloudDock is backend-agnostic — it works with any AWS-compatible endpoint, not just LocalStack.
| Backend | Port | Services | License | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LocalStack | 4566 | 80+ | Freemium | Full-featured AWS emulator. Some services require a paid plan. |
| Floci | 4566 | 25 | MIT (Free) | Starts in 24ms. No auth required. |
| MiniStack | 4566 | 34 | MIT (Free) | Real containers for RDS/ElastiCache. |
| Moto | 5000 | 100+ | Apache 2.0 (Free) | In-memory mock. Best for unit testing. |
| Custom | Any | — | — | Any AWS-compatible HTTP endpoint. |
Pick any backend and start it with Docker:
LocalStack (most popular)
docker run --rm -p 4566:4566 localstack/localstackFloci (fastest startup)
docker run --rm -p 4566:4566 hectorvent/floci:latestMiniStack (real container services)
docker run --rm -p 4566:4566 nahuelnucera/ministackMoto (lightweight mock)
docker run --rm -p 5000:5000 motoserver/moto:latestDevelopment mode (no build needed):
npm install --legacy-peer-deps
