Possible soft lock due to missing key item

The seed is 602956604_Bu0zm. I am unable to find the dream ruby, the vase of drought, the locket of love, and the green orb. I have double checked every treasure, npc, and ground search location without success. I'm assuming finding one of these items will unlock the trail to the rest that are missing. My only thought is that the elven merchant possibly has one of these for sale which I can't access as I no longer have the staff of change.

I am stuck at the exact same spot on a different seed, 107389458 (I did not retain the flags at the end of my filename). I mean literally the same spot, I turned in the staff of change to get the Sailor's Thigh Bone, found the ship, and no useful quest items were found there. I found three orbs in the cave near Samanao, two other orbs came from an early dungeon (possibly Noaniels? I can't remember). I can't say for sure if the green orb is the one I am missing as I already turned them in at the shrine but I am missing one orb, and the four quest items I didn't find are that orb, the Dream Ruby, the Vase of Drought, and the Locket of Love.

Interesting. Can't be a coincidence. If you talk to the women at the shrine they tell you which orbs you've turned in so you could figure out which is missing by process of elimination. Not sure if the creator is supporting this randomizer anymore though so we might be both stuck for good unfortunately. Get Outlook for Android<https://aka.ms/ghei36>

OK, the Dream Ruby and the Vase are not in use. The latter is OK because the Final Key is guaranteed to not be in that location. I'll look at the former when I get the opportunity. The Locket Of Love just got re-added as a required item. You should be able to find the Green Orb though...

The Wake-Up Powder is now a key item. I'm going to ignore the Dream Ruby for now. (but I'll keep the issue open until that's completely addressed)

You don't have a list of possible spawn locations for the orbs do you? I suppose it's always possible that there is some spot it might spawn that I didn't consider when I went back over (what I thought was) every possible chest.

Jumping on this to confirm that I also had issues with key items on my seed: 1891509226. Checked every possible location and still need the Yellow Orb. I went through the list on Form1.cs at line 4531 and confirmed its not anywhere listed. I can't get New Town to its conclusion as I can't beat Boss Troll because I have no Mirror of Ra (which as I understand is the trigger for the final form of New Town).

Are the item-giving NPCs not randomized even though the items they give can be found elsewhere? For example by the time I made it to Necrogond, I already had a Silver Orb, so the guy there didn't give me anything. But could he have been randomized to give me the Yellow Orb but didn't because I already had the Silver Orb?

I would argue that with the current state of the randomizer, producing a "cheat file" that lists which items are supposed to be where would be extremely prudent to help players figure out when something is wrong and report it back to you.

Also on the Leaf of the World tree, on my current seed searching the spot yielded the item " Black Raven" (spaces included). It cannot be sold and when used it writes the text from when you defeat Baramos (something like "the area was engulfed in a warm light") but ultimately has no effect. I was just glad it didn't corrupt my file.
