Profile: no claim that every fork change is one upstream would merge - #84

Conversation
The opening paragraph said every change is one we would happily see merged back. Some changes align a fork with our own lint baseline or replace a library, and those are ours to carry, not upstream's to take. The paragraph now says what is true of every fork: upstream keeps the credit and the licence, and what differs is written down change by change; and names the changes that stay ours. 🎯 Why
The profile's opening paragraph said every change in our forks is one we would happily see merged back. Some changes align a fork with our own lint baseline or replace a library; those are ours to carry, not upstream's to take, so the sentence claimed more than the forks deliver.
🛠️ What
The paragraph now states what holds for every fork: upstream keeps the credit and the licence, and what differs from upstream is written down change by change, in each repository's
UPSTREAM.md. One added sentence names the changes that stay ours. The contributor paragraph that follows ("if you can get a fix upstream, do that first") is unchanged.🧪 How
just lintexit 0, 17/17 limen rules;just testis the empty recipe in this repository. The claim matches the record: each of the eight forks'UPSTREAM.mdlists its changes one by one (for example https://github.com/forkcloser/go-licenses/blob/main/UPSTREAM.md), and the rows for kong, slog and go-version are the kind named as ours.💡 Notes
The same correction is in the forkcloser.org copy, which makes no mergeability claim either.
