  • Minimum Requirements: Raised minimum supported versions to Flutter 3.38 / Dart 3.10.
  • iOS Target: Raised minimum supported iOS deployment target to 14.0. Removed DKImagePickerController / DKPhotoGallery dependency chain.

This cannot go green as it stands, and the reason is a decision this repo already took.

pubspec.yaml on master reads file_picker: ">=11.0.2 <12.0.0-0", narrowed deliberately in #98 ("block file_picker 12.0.0-beta prerelease"). This bump walks straight through that upper bound.

Analyze code fails on real API breaks in 12.0.0, not on lint noise. From the run:

error • The getter 'files' isn't defined for the type 'List<PlatformFile>'
error • The getter 'size' isn't defined for the type 'PlatformFile'
error • The getter 'extension' isn't defined for the type 'PlatformFile'
error • The getter 'bytes' isn't defined for the type 'PlatformFile'
error • A value of type 'Future<Uri?>' can't be returned from the method 'saveFile'
        because it has a return type of 'Future<String?>'

Two of those are mechanical inside lib/src/facades/pick.dart: the result is now the list rather than carrying .files, and the per-file getters moved. The last one is not. FilePicker.saveFile returns Future<Uri?> in 12, while Pick.saveFile is public API declared Future<String?>, so migrating means either converting the Uri to a path (with a platform caveat to verify on web) or changing magic's own public signature, which is a breaking change for every consumer.

So this needs a deliberate migration, not a version bump. Closing rather than leaving a red check on a PR that cannot pass; dependabot will reopen it if the constraint is ever widened, and the migration deserves its own PR with the saveFile decision written down.
