Forge: Leffe's lift layer spliced into his maps (Thunder Bluff, Undercity south lift only) - #730

His walking graph has no lift edges by design; the lifts are a transport layer on top (Leffe's lift layer: lifts.json and the reviewed Thunder Bluff and Undercity lift rule). forge_nav::f4::lifts finds lift-layer/lifts.json in or beside the pack folder, uses it only on the grid build it was found on (PACK.json grid.buildConfig) and resolves each landing on his surfaces. Each car is a ride each way, priced as our grid's (15 s + 4 yd/s of shaft, x RUN, x the landing's surface multiplier). Landings are nodes of the abstract search on a heap of their own, popped only when strictly cheaper, so walks no lift serves answer bit for bit as before. A walk across Thunder Bluff's or the Undercity's floors searches a second layer reached only by riding one of the city's lifts (never the sewer pipe); the Undercity's south lift is its only way in and out for walks (Fitz, 2026-10-25). Legs over a lift get the lift move. f4walks MODEL_VERSION 2 with the layer's hash in the model; legs-2 and the legs key and maps id carry the layer.

Leffe's walking graph has no lift edges by design; his lift layer (
lift-layer/lifts.json+ the reviewed Thunder Bluff / Undercity rule) is the transport layer on top. This splices it into Forge's f4 search.forge_nav::f4::lifts: finds the layer in or beside his pack, uses it only on the grid build it names (PACK.json grid.buildConfig), resolves landings on his surfaces. Each car is a ride each way priced like our grid's lifts. A walk across Thunder Bluff's bluff/ground or the Undercity/Ruins must ride a lift (never the sewer pipe); Undercity walks use the south Undervator only, matching the in-game planner's one way in and out (Fitz, 2026-10-25).
