A curated, installable collection of agent skills for creative production,
interface design, engineering, and visual explanation. This repository unifies
the former fine405/skills and fine405/dev-skills collections while keeping
each skill independently installable.
| Skill | Purpose |
|---|---|
app-icon-design |
Orchestrate one app-icon identity across themes, visual styles, platforms, and production QA. |
app-icon-theme |
Create coherent theme-driven variants of an existing app icon without losing its identity. |
imagegen-ansi |
Turn references or raster art into transparent ANSI-style assets and code-ready terminal previews. |
imagegen-glyph-mosaic |
Generate full-color glyph-mosaic illustrations with a coherent character grid and palette logic. |
imagegen-transparent |
Generate or extract clean transparent assets with chroma-key removal, alpha cleanup, and validation. |
Exported from Apple Xcode 27.1 with preserved upstream guidance, provenance hashes, and Codex entry points. Device workflows require the corresponding Xcode tools; these files do not install tools. See source, usage, and updates.
| Skill | Purpose |
|---|---|
adopt-c-bounds-safety |
Use Apple guidance to adopt or debug the C -fbounds-safety extension, pointer annotations, build modes, and runtime bounds violations. Not for ordinary Swift-only code. |
app-intents-specialist |
Use Apple guidance when implementing or reviewing App Intents, entities, queries, parameters, dependencies, Shortcuts, and system integration correctness. |
app-intents-whats-new-27 |
Use Apple guidance when adopting or migrating newer App Intents APIs, execution modes, interactive snippets, Visual Intelligence, Spotlight indexing, and cross-device entities. Check SDK and runtime availability. |
app-resizability |
Use Apple guidance to make apps adapt to changing window sizes, multiwindow scenes, split-screen, Stage Manager, or foldable layouts, and migrate legacy UIKit screen and lifecycle assumptions. |
audit-xcode-security-settings |
Use Apple guidance to audit Xcode compiler warnings, static analysis, and security hardening build settings. Not for TLS, signing, or privacy API reviews. |
building-document-based-swiftui-applications |
Use Apple guidance when building or migrating SwiftUI document-based apps with Document, DocumentGroup, readers, writers, autosave, undo, and UTTypes. New APIs require supported SDKs and deployment targets. |
device-interaction |
Verify app behavior on a device or simulator using Apple DeviceInteraction tools, screenshots, hierarchy, and touch events. Requires the corresponding Xcode tools. Not for build-only or unit-test-only tasks. |
modernize-tests |
Use Apple guidance to migrate eligible XCTest tests to Swift Testing or improve existing Swift Testing patterns. Keep UI automation and XCTest performance measurement tests in XCTest. |
swiftui-specialist |
Use Apple guidance when writing or reviewing SwiftUI view structure, state ownership, Observation, Environment, list identity, modifiers, animation, localization, and deprecated APIs. |
swiftui-whats-new-27 |
Use Apple guidance for SwiftUI 27 API adoption and migration, including State macro diagnostics, ContentBuilder, reordering, AsyncImage, swipe actions, toolbars, and item-bound presentations. |
| Skill | Purpose |
|---|---|
design-direction |
Explore distinctive design directions, refine with independent screenshot critiques, and finish with restrained UI and copy. |
hallmark-study |
Extract reusable design DNA from a screenshot or public URL without cloning protected content. |
hallmark-build |
Design and implement distinctive web UI while preserving the existing product system. |
hallmark-audit |
Audit UI code and rendered evidence for hierarchy, accessibility, responsiveness, trust, and implementation risk. |
The Hallmark workflow is intentionally split into three explicit skills:
hallmark-study -> extract abstract design DNA
hallmark-build -> implement against the product system
hallmark-audit -> inspect code and rendered evidence without editing
| Skill | Purpose |
|---|---|
open-source-contribution |
Prepare compliant upstream contributions by checking repository rules, related work, verification gates, attribution, and CI. |
| Skill | Purpose |
|---|---|
eli5 |
Turn a topic into a self-contained, picture-first HTML explainer for a complete beginner. |
write-explain |
Draft and edit clear writing automatically; explain on explicit invocation, with optional HTML or captioned video proposed after delivery for the user to choose. |

npx skills add fine405/skills --skill '*'The skills CLI discovers skills recursively, so category folders do not change the installed skill name.
Existing fine405/dev-skills users can switch the package source to
fine405/skills; all five former development skill names remain unchanged.

Every skill has a SKILL.md and Codex-facing agents/openai.yaml. Optional
references/, scripts/, examples/, and assets/ stay inside the skill so
the directory remains portable when installed by itself. Some small utilities
are deliberately duplicated between independently installable skills; repository
validation prevents those copies from drifting.
Run the same checks as CI:
python3 scripts/validate_repo.py
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v
python3 -m compileall -q skills scripts testsThe validator checks category structure, frontmatter, unique names, agent metadata, bilingual index coverage, local Markdown links, and synchronized shared utility copies.
