Empathy has several conflicting current-work documents, retained specialist implementations, and validation gaps that need reconciliation before a comprehensive roadmap can be trusted.
This adds a dated, evidence-based audit and its command/metadata receipt. It records 19 normalized findings, covers all 12 current open issues exactly once, and assesses both existing PRs separately from delivered main. Findings distinguish existing scope from uncreated follow-up candidates and preserve explicit uncertainty.
Parent: #118 — the Empathy backlog roadmap. The dated audit has now been reviewed: all 19 findings have issue coverage, the 12 original issues were preserved, and 10 focused follow-ups were added. The report remains an immutable assessment of its represented source revision.

Issue reconciliation and native roadmap hierarchy are recorded in #118. Preserve the report as a dated snapshot; issues remain the live work ledger. Exact-head canonical holistic review for this documentation merge is recorded below.

Canonical holistic run 39291877919, attempt 1 scanned exact head
397414ada5e0064aa4d768f42ef161109d05bc00with full-codebase validation. The run fails on reviewed baseline lint debt; no introduced gating finding was identified in the two new artifacts. Markdownlint and canonical JSON/Markdown Prettier checks pass for the new files.Reviewed introduced warning-only diagnostics: 32 Proselint suggestions (primarily formatted table spacing, literal evidence wording, and terminology), a table-formatter alignment warning against the canonical Prettier output, and 17 duplication detections involving table/common Markdown text. These do not indicate duplicated executable behavior; preserve the dated report rather than rewriting its evidence to satisfy competing prose/format heuristics.
Mypy 36 errors, Bandit 10 LOW diagnostics, the staged Secretlint example and Lychee 179 failures are unchanged baseline paths; the report's immutable source/receipt links validated. Native linter logs were inspected because the generated SARIF has zero runs and cannot establish clean results. The nondefault snapshot publisher actually skipped. Artifact

This review permits publishing the bounded audit artifacts; it does not upgrade the dated audit's partial assurance status or accept any remediation issue.
