in the past couple of years, i’ve developed a strong interest in learning about databases, especially vector databases.
at present, i’m working on a text-based information retrieval system called sift. i’ve built a bunch of projects, mostly cli applications—most of them just for the fun of making them. one of the weirder ones includes a bulk email sender that supports custom html templates, pulls email ids and other required data from an excel sheet, and sends emails—built mainly to test how many goroutines the go runtime can create on my system!
