Live delivery countdown for Knuspr, Gurkerl, Kifli and Sezamo (help wanted) #100
The Delivery Time sensor reads the delivery message the shop shows for your order. Messages with a clock time ("we'll deliver at 17:23") work in every shop. In the last few minutes before the courier arrives, though, the shop often switches to a countdown ("in about 2 minutes"). So far the integration only understands that countdown in Czech, because nobody outside Czechia has shared what the message looks like.
As a result, in the final minutes Knuspr, Gurkerl, Kifli and Sezamo users see an older delivery time instead of the live countdown.
We'd love your help! 🙌 If you order from one of these shops, all we need is the text of the delivery messages from a real delivery. No coding is needed.
After a delivery, open the Delivery Info sensor in Home Assistant and look at its history. Every message the shop showed is listed there, including the last one before the courier arrived.
Copy the last few messages into a comment on your language's issue.
Remove anything personal (your name, address or phone number) before posting.
Optional extra: download the integration's diagnostics while a delivery is on its way (Settings → Devices & Services → Rohlík.cz → ⋮ → Download diagnostics). It contains the original message with its formatting, which helps us read dates and times reliably. Personal data is removed automatically, but please check the file before attaching it.
Comfortable with Python? The countdown pattern is _MINUTES_UNTIL_PATTERN in utils.py. A pull request that extends it, with a test using a real message, is very welcome too.
