OpenAI's Plugins Directory metadata check rejected the listing name "Display" as too generic. The Codex manifest's displayName, the start of its longDescription and the README install steps now use display.dev. The version moves to 0.7.6 across every version-bearing file, because the directory requires a new version for each upload. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

Why
OpenAI's Plugins Directory metadata check rejected the listing name Display: "The plugin name is too generic to distinguish it. Use a recognizable product or brand name." We're using the fallback the spec records: display.dev.
What changes
interface.displayName:Display→display.dev.longDescription: "display.dev gives your agent…" and "You sign in to display.dev through OAuth." Nothing else in the text changes./pluginsinstall steps say display.dev.plugin_version_unchanged).The icon (the current
