  1. findNew() will determine where we need to be for the next unread messages and switch our current sub to that particular area
  2. readNew() will go through only that particular sub providing rcChoice() at the end in order to allow scrolling backwards or forwards through the messages, etc etc etc
  3. findNew() should take over after that is done, again; this may require some recoding as I'm not certain that this functionality is already present
