ark help output says byte columns share one unit so sizes can be compared down the column (here). The reading view formats each _bytes value on its own through style::bytes (here), so ark data list prints 941.9 MiB in one row and 0 B in the next.
Either the table picks one unit per byte column, or the help page stops promising it.
