Closing a background app can leave Settings visible while actual X11 keyboard focus is unset. Run the existing guarded focus repair after every completed app, retaining conditional window raising and preserving another focused app. The Awesome/X11 regression reproduces the old failure and verifies recovery plus focus preservation.
Prepare authorized Shell 1.0.3 with Rust 1.99 as the minimum, pinned compiler and official release container. Refresh workspace crates to current stable releases (libc 0.2.190 and lazy_static 1.5.1), update bundled Arti to 2.7.0 and all current consumers, and reconcile both target notice graphs. Three older transitive versions are required by upstream SDL2/PNG.
Validation: full
sh scripts/validate.shpasses on macOS and Linux; 380/383 Rust tests, 181 Python cases with platform exclusions, strict Clippy, renderer/SDL and doc checks. The actual Awesome/X11 suite passes. ARMv7 build and five-member packaging pass. Workspace RustSec audit has no vulnerabilities or warnings. The initial Linux disk-full failure and successful unchanged rerun are retained. Exact tagged public installation and final owner physical acceptance remain required before declaring readiness. The first push run exposed Linux ESRCH during procfs inspection. Ignore only disappeared-process errors while retaining fail-closed permission/I/O handling; a targeted regression and renewed full canonical validation pass. Prepared PocketCHIP install/reinstall retains 93 entries and eight settings. All 15 device Tor tests, including real Arti 2.7.0 bootstrap and clean stop, pass.
