@baburciu I haven't merged this as we don't have e2e tests here, do you have time to try it out? Do you think it would be possible to create a script that sets up an environment in kind (+ azure) that allows e2e tests to run?

hi @chlunde, I've added MSSQL e2e tests in #300. It seemed fine on my machine. I've also tested this commit like that and it worked.
If we need to, I can build from this branch and test with Azure MSSQL next week.
