bs-bridge is a semi-fictional research toolkit developed by a decentralized research group specializing in Bio-Digital Synthesis. This repository explores the intersection of organic biology and digital systems using Python. The goal is to build tools that simulate and experiment with biological processes in a digital environment, laying the groundwork for future research in Bio-Digital synthesis.
Bio-Digital Synthesis (BDS) is a conceptual field aiming to bridge the gap between organic, biological systems and digital systems. It involves creating algorithms and models that simulate biological processes and explore ways to integrate them with technology.
In this toolkit, we use Python to:
- Simulate simple biological growth processes (like cell division, plant growth, etc.)
- Develop tools to track the genetic code of organic organisms and map them to a digital structure.
- Simulate bio-computational processes where digital systems interact with synthetic organic matter.
To use the BioSynthBridge toolkit, you'll need Python 3.7 or above. You can install the necessary dependencies via pip:
pip install -r requirements.txt
