ok found it at /opt/mm/config/media_manager.log. So the community script is ignoring the environment variable. I will create a issue + potentially a PR for this.
there is no env for this tool. and what you posted never recognized. the right way is to intigrate this in the toml file, nothing others. And dont Spam "Tasks" that really long time done
you can simply change it in /opt/mm/start.sh and done.

I get that I could've found that out myself. Sorry about that.
I also get that with these scripts, you may deviate from the path described in the config. If using env is not desired at all for Community Scripts, then I agree, there's nothing to do. Other than hoping that maybe this gets added to config.toml.

The mediamanager script is ready for testing:
bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/raw/main/ct/mediamanager.sh)"Default credentials:
Username:
Password: admin
During the installation, provide the email address of the first admin user
You're probably going to want to use a bind mount for the media directories
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
