Stash organizes adult media collections: scans the library, then enriches it with performers, studios, tags and scene metadata from stash-box instances (StashDB and friends) and community scrapers. Complements the existing whisparr-eros script, which handles acquisition rather than organization.
Stack: single Go binary, singlefile mode (stash-linux / stash-linux-arm64v8), plus setup_ffmpeg so Stash uses the system ffmpeg instead of downloading its own. Runs on :9999.
Config:STASH_CONFIG_FILE=/opt/stash_data/config.yml — Stash reads that env var and creates the file through its first-run setup wizard, which is also where username/password are set.
Persistence:/opt/stash_data (config, SQLite DB, generated previews) — outside the app dir.
Note: media is not stored in the container; the library has to be bind-mounted into the LXC and the scan paths pointed at the mount.
On first start Stash runs a setup wizard at http://:9999 where you pick your media directories and optionally set a username and password.
Configuration, database and generated content live in /opt/stash_data, outside the app directory, so they survive updates. Include this directory in your backups.
Media files are not stored in the container. Mount your library into the LXC (for example via a Proxmox bind mount) and point the Stash scan directories at the mount path.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
basic installation and usage is working fine so far. I have one error and one Feature-Request.
My error is, that hardware transcoding is not working. My VAAPI devices gets detected with h264_vaapi support. But the ffmpeg command is always created with the libx264 software encoder. Hardware transcoding is enabled and left with default settings.

The Stash script is ready for testing:
On first start Stash runs a setup wizard at http://:9999 where you pick your media directories and optionally set a username and password.
Configuration, database and generated content live in /opt/stash_data, outside the app directory, so they survive updates. Include this directory in your backups.
Media files are not stored in the container. Mount your library into the LXC (for example via a Proxmox bind mount) and point the Stash scan directories at the mount path.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.

Hi,
basic installation and usage is working fine so far. I have one error and one Feature-Request.
My error is, that hardware transcoding is not working. My VAAPI devices gets detected with
h264_vaapisupport. But the ffmpeg command is always created with thelibx264software encoder. Hardware transcoding is enabled and left with default settings.my feature request is, to implement https://pypi.org/project/stashapi/ into the script. This is needed for some plugins like "Restash"
Thanks!
