World Monitor is a self-hostable real-time global intelligence dashboard that aggregates news, geopolitical events, financial markets, cyber threats, disasters, maritime and aviation data into a unified situational-awareness view with interactive maps and AI-assisted briefings. A Vite/TypeScript SPA plus a Node API sidecar, a Redis REST proxy and an AIS relay run as native systemd services behind nginx. Web UI on port 8080. Optionally integrates with an OpenAI-compatible/Ollama LLM for briefings.

Deferred — blocked on an upstream release.

While testing the generated script, the install failed: fetch_and_deploy_gh_release deploys the latest release tag v2.5.23 (published 2026-03-01), but that tag does not contain the self-host server setup. The docker/ infrastructure the bare-metal install depends on (docker/build-handlers.mjs, the redis-rest proxy, ais-relay, nginx config, runtime-package.json, etc.) was first added on 2026-03-19 — 18 days after v2.5.23 — and no newer tag has been cut since. The published release assets are all Tauri desktop-app builds (AppImage/dmg/exe/msi), not the server.

So there is currently no released version that includes the self-hostable server; it only exists on main. Deferring until upstream cuts a release that ships the docker/ self-host setup, at which point the script can pin to that tag. (Deploying from a moving main branch was considered and declined.)

The generated ct/install/json files have been removed for now.
