A self-hosted library management and reading platform for ebooks, PDFs, audiobooks, and comics.
BookOrbit is a self-hosted digital library and reading platform. Organize and read your books, sync seamlessly with Kobo and KOReader devices, enrich your collection with metadata from multiple providers, and support multiple users with OIDC/SSO authentication and detailed reading statistics. Built-in features include OPDS support, customizable dashboard widgets, Send-to-Kindle delivery, and Smart Scopes for dynamic rule-based shelves and filters - all running on infrastructure you control.

The BookOrbit script is ready for testing:
bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/raw/main/ct/bookorbit.sh)"Open http://YOUR_IP:3000 and finish the initial setup using SETUP_BOOTSTRAP_TOKEN. The token is shown at the end of /root/bookorbit.creds
Default data path is /opt/bookorbit-data and default books path is /opt/bookorbit-books.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.

Install and update worked fine. Was able to import my library from an external mount point just fine and works without a hitch behind a reverse proxy.

everything worked fine for me interesting difference is this says local build instead of version 1.9

Added APP_VERSION to .env. Will now show the currently installed version correctly
