Description
Bitfocus Companion should have a Proxmox helper script because Proxmox is a popular platform in homelabs and always-on control setups, which matches Companion’s use case very well. Official support for this kind of deployment would make Companion more appealing to self-hosting users and show that running it in virtualized environments is a valid and supported option. It would also strengthen Companion’s position in the homelab and automation community.

The bitfocus-companion script is ready for testing:
bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/raw/main/ct/bitfocus-companion.sh)"Companion v4.x downloads are served through the Bitfocus API, not GitHub Releases.
Requires libusb for USB device (Stream Deck) bindings.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.

Install seems to works, but console is password protected, so unable to test more.
EDIT: Scratch that i am blind - install actually fails even though it shows as complete with:
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

Install and Web UI work, update function also working as expected.
