The erpnext script is ready for testing: bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/raw/main/ct/erpnext.sh)"
Default credentials:
Username: Administrator
Admin password is stored in /opt/frappe-bench/.env.
The default site name is site1.local. Configure your domain in Frappe settings.
Run bench update from /opt/frappe-bench to update ERPNext manually.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
Everything seems to be working, except...
The only thing I noticed, not sure if related to the install or with Frappe/ERPNext, is that the top menu system appears to be missing. The only ways to return to the Main menu are using the back button or the URL to the upper menu. I don't have this version installed via the normal process to verify against but in an older version, there is a top-menu (last image) that allows for broader navigation.
Clicking the hamburger menu only collapses the side menu.
That makes sense now, thank you. Might be helpful to add that to the description or hints when this script is public. Thank you! Going to test further, but it appears to be working just fine.
I currently have ERPNext running using Demo Data as Dev System currently. Installation was error free.
Also ran the update command, no issues with the update either.
Will be deploying a 2nd separate instance for Production Data next. (Understand this is still DEV as far as application status, just attempting to run real world data vs demo data.)

Install and Web UI work flawlessly, update function also working as expected.
that is as far as i have tested though as not an app use.

Planning on testing, will this script allow for selected install of available Frappe modules? For example Frappe HR & Payroll, and Helpdesk?
CerberusStyle commentedon Apr 3, 2026
Script doesn't work like that it just installs the app to an lxc, everything else is done via the lxc console or in app itself.

Not sure if this is an issue on my install or is happening with others. I cannot seem to run the

Just did a fresh install using default settings and can confirm the "bench: command not found" error occurs on a clear build as well.

Bench only Work with frappe User, Not with sudo or root
sudo -u frappe bash -c 'export PATH="$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH"; cd /opt && bench xxxx

I've had ERPNext running for a few weeks and haven't had any issues. Install via default and advanced worked without errors.
Update command works.
I would move to prod.

I agree with the others - promote to prod
