The plane script is ready for testing: bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/raw/main/ct/plane.sh)"
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
Install works fine and had no issues creating a workspace or creating personal access tokens.
However, trying to create any action requiring to upload an image, like starting a project (which is arguably one of the most important features) or changing your avatar results in an error: Failed to upload cover image / Failed to process cover image
Update function doesn't work:
root@plane:~# update
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404

+1 for this. Any data uploads fail on a clean install. This then blocks the creation of projects within the app, as it locally downloads the unsplash cover image when creating one.

confirming this script works but can not be released till issues with app itself fixed imho.
Well, thank you :) I've just tried 'systemctl status plane' before and just assumed theres no service running. They are all enabled. This helps a lot, knowing the services run without any errors I've checked my browser console. My mistake was accessing the instance via the host name.

Accessing the container via the IP address works.
CORS error because you're trying to access via URL that is not IP address. set your env vars straight

Hi, I'm excited for a helper script for plane :) thank you for your work.
I've tried the community script, created my lxc successfully with default settings and I get this message when accessing the lxc ip:
As there is no systemd unit for plane, whats the best method to get some error logs?
MickLesk commentedon Jun 15, 2026
you have 5 services?

let me know, if the tool work fine, because the other guy above never respond again ^^
kpko commentedon Jun 15, 2026
Sure! I also tried uploading a file on a work item and it worked flawlessly. So far everything seems fine.
Edit: The mentioned use cases of uploading a profile pic or a project cover image also work without any problems on my side.

install command is returning errors. 404 for the GitHub script and 502 for Gitea.
edit/semi-resolved: VE works now - script URL still has /VED
CerberusStyle commentedon Jun 20, 2026
It would be it has been deleted and migrated to VE repo you will need to remove and reinstall from the VE repo.
