The Obsidian-LiveSync script is ready for testing: bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVED/raw/main/ct/obsidian-livesync.sh)"
Default credentials:
Username: admin
Install the Self-hosted LiveSync plugin in Obsidian. The GitHub release ZIP is a client plugin, not server software.
Connection details are stored in /opt/obsidian-livesync/.env. Use HTTPS through a reverse proxy for mobile Obsidian clients.
Enable end-to-end encryption and path obfuscation in the plugin before synchronising sensitive notes.
Note: This is not in the official repo yet—it's just a dev version! After merging into ProxmoxVE, it will need to be recreated.
@vhsdream ive never used obsidian, i had a little trouble understanding the script(source - github), so I set it up so that it works (in my opinion), but in the end, is it really just a modified CouchDB? Since the linked tool is just a plugin, right? I think I should have the people who asked about it test the tool; I'm a little stumped ^^
I have set this up with Obsidian. Previously used the CouchDB script, this is easier to setup but could use some additional instructions how to set it up with Obsidian. As mentioned above I had to enable CORS in the CouchDB config at /opt/couchdb/etc/local.ini to work with my reverse proxy (Caddy).

It worked for me, thank you. Additionally, I had to enable CORS for sync to start working via Obsidian LiveSync plugin.
