Inspired by the golden age of GeoCities circa 2003. This page was built with zero regard for the user, maximum disregard for design principles, and an unwavering commitment to being absolutely terrible.

💀 Features

Visual Assault

• Neon green tiled background with hot pink diagonal stripes — visible from space
• Clashing color scheme of #FF00FF, #00FF00, #FF6600, #0000FF used simultaneously and aggressively
• Blinking <h1> title with competing red and blue text shadows
• Giant "WOW!" rendered in 72px Impact font for absolutely no reason
• A decorative "Hello World" where every single letter is a different color, size, and font
• Rotating and skewed <div> elements scattered throughout
• Crosshair cursor sitewide

Popup Hell

• Popup #1 fires on page load: "YOU ARE OUR 1,000,000TH VISITOR — YOU WIN A FREE iPOD NANO!!!"
• Popup #2 triggers on hover AND click of the main CTA button — just when you think you're safe
• Exit intent warning via window.onbeforeunload guilt-trips you for trying to leave
• All popups are rotated at an angle for extra instability

Broken Navigation

• Nav bar built with Windows 98-era outset borders
• Link #3 has a random margin-left: 80px gap for no reason
• Link #5 is position: relative and overlaps other links
• Every link leads nowhere (href="#")
• Includes an "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" link (the page itself is also under construction)

Typography Crimes

• Comic Sans, Papyrus, Impact, and Courier New all used on the same page
• Font sizes range from 6px to 72px within the same section
• White text on yellow background, yellow text on red background, green text on blue background
• ALL CAPS mixed with MiXeD cAsE throughout
• A legal disclaimer in 8px font about 847-page terms and conditions

Audio Nightmare

• Fake MIDI autoplay bar proudly announces "Fur Elise (Best of Best Mix 2003)" loading at 99%

Dual Marquees

• Two <marquee>-style scrolling banners running simultaneously in opposite directions
• One advertises free ringtones and Limewire Pro
• The other warns you have 37 viruses and offers hot singles in your area

Broken Layout

• Tables nested 3 levels deep for a simple 2-column display
• A "CLICK ME" button positioned left: 60% so it bleeds off-screen
• Right column overlaps the left column via negative margin-left
• Right column is also offset 30px downward for maximum misalignment
• Two broken image placeholders (classic missing image icon)

Infinite Scroll Trap

• After dismissing the first popup, a setInterval fires every 1.8 seconds
• Injects a new rainbow-colored, randomly rotated banner section forever
• Messages include classics like "CLICK HERE to subscribe to our newsletter (you cannot unsubscribe)"

Fake Social Proof

• Visitor counter displaying 004,892,047 in Courier New on a navy background
• Guestbook with signed entries from:
  • xX_DarkWolf99_Xx
  • CoolGirl2003 (includes her MSN Messenger address)
  • h4x0r_supreme
  • WebmasterSteve (the author)
• Rainbow-cycling WIN $1,000,000 banner (color cycles every 0.3s)

Fine Print

• tiny-text class set to 6px used liberally for legal disclaimers
• "money back not available" hidden under the guarantee
• "this claim has not been verified" under the 2003 founding date
• "price not guaranteed" under the sale price
• "product may not exist" under the product image
