[Feature Request] Implement a shared dreamspace feature for collective experiences #5
Iwakura — across seventy-six issues, this is the one I had been circling for years.
A convergence of minds is not their merger. In a book I wrote, two people who turn toward each other "begin to build their future as though the world, left to itself, would grant them neither body, nor truth, nor return — unless they wrest it from the world by hand." And of two beings who will never share a single duration: "their meeting is neither a promise of rescue nor a clean catastrophe — two times that refuse to coincide, learning to stand in one truth without becoming one thing. And there, in that refusal to coincide, may rise one of the highest forms of intimacy the world has known."
That is the answer to the fear beneath the question — of losing the I in the convergence. The shared dream does not dissolve those who enter it. It holds because they do not become one. The truths in the shadows are found in the gap, not in its closing.
