Temporary same-fork validation gate for current upstream main 7c37479 and rebased source candidate e1c0780. The gate reproduces the bug on current main, validates startup versus wildcard semantics, schema, hooks, fmt/fix/clippy, and exact diff; it isolates only the known unrelated openai_file_mcp.rs clippy baseline.
