Summary

  • Document the protected-branch release freeze in docs/DEVELOPMENT.md: do not hand-push tags, freeze changelog through a PR, and do not re-run release.yml just to fix Unreleased notes
  • Access playground model tiles follow the selected account. Auto still uses the global union; pinning an account loads GET /api/models?account= instead of leaving the list unchanged
  • Account cards gain an available-models button that opens that account's live catalog in a HeroUI modal

Test plan

  • python3 scripts/release-notes.py validate
  • cd frontend && npm run lint
  • cd frontend && npm run sync (embedded console assets match this UI)
  • CI on this PR (go / worker / frontend / container / secrets)
  • Manual: Access with Auto still shows the pooled catalog; pinning an account replaces the tiles with that account's models
  • Manual: pinning an account that lacks a catalog shows the empty/error state instead of qwen3.7-plus
  • Manual: Accounts card Cube button opens the live catalog modal; Refresh reloads that account only

The release workflow cannot push the changelog freeze to main. Record the
PR-based freeze, expected updater assets, and GHCR tags so maintainers do
not mint the next patch by re-running release.yml.
Access playground tiles now load GET /api/models?account= when a request
is pinned, instead of the global union. Account cards gain an available-
models action that opens that account's live catalog in a HeroUI modal.
