Instructions for Judges
- Scope: Only evaluate projects designed to help other people build humanely. Projects that are "humane apps" but do not also support others in building humanely should not be judged.
- Equal Evaluation: Apply consistent standards across technical and non-technical projects. Software, policy proposals, philosophical frameworks, and other approaches should be evaluated on comparable merit.
- Feedback: Please provide qualitative feedback in addition to numerical scores.
RELEVANCE:
- Did the proposal address the problem statement and theme?
- Humane tech principles are clearly applied in context
NOVELTY:
- This idea brings a paradigm shift in its context of application
DESIGN:
- The project is easy to navigate and use
HUMANE IMPACT:
- If applied correctly, it will meaningfully change outcomes in the right direction
IMPLEMENTATION:
- Did the team achieve everything they wanted? (e.g. does software work, are documents complete?)
PRESENTATION:
- Does the presentation clearly define and address the problem statement?
